Programs We're Approved For

Arizona — Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)

Who's eligible: All Arizona K–12 students (Arizona's ESA is universal).

How to purchase: Generate your invoice on our invoice form page, log in to ClassWallet through the Arizona ESA Applicant Portal, choose Pay Vendor, select myShakespeare, enter the invoice total, and upload the PDF. Once the state approves the order and payment is issued, we'll email your course access code within two business days.

Good to know: Arizona reviews purchases against your student's curriculum. Our invoices include the course subject (English/Literature), grade level, contents, and completion time to make approval smooth — keep a copy with your records.

Arkansas — Education Freedom Account (EFA)

Who's eligible: All Arkansas K–12 students (the EFA is universal, with no enrollment cap). Administered by the Arkansas Department of Education under the LEARNS Act. Homeschool families must have a notice of intent on file with the state before accounts are funded.

How to purchase: Generate your invoice on our invoice form page, log in to ClassWallet, choose Pay Vendor, select myShakespeare, enter the invoice total, and upload the PDF. Once ADE approves the order and payment is issued, we'll email your course access code within two business days.

Good to know: EFA funds are deposited quarterly (the first deposit typically lands in August). A Shakespeare course pairs well with any English curriculum — and at $19.99–$49.99, it fits easily alongside your other planned purchases.

New Hampshire — Education Freedom Account (EFA)

Who's eligible: New Hampshire students in grades K–12 who are not attending a district public or charter school full-time. The program is open to all income levels, with enrollment priority for current EFA students, siblings, students with special needs, and lower-income families. Administered by the Children's Scholarship Fund New Hampshire (CSF-NH).

How to purchase: Generate your invoice on our invoice form page, log in to your EFA account, choose Pay Vendor, select myShakespeare, enter the invoice total, and upload the PDF. Once your order is approved and payment is issued, we'll email your course access code within two business days.

New York City — Children's Scholarship Fund (CSF) NYC Homeschool Program

Who's eligible: This is a private scholarship (not a New York State program) for New York City homeschool families with students in grades K–8 who meet the program's income guidelines. Our courses are designed for grades 7–12, making them a great fit for CSF students in grades 7 and 8.

How to purchase: Generate your invoice on our invoice form page, log in to ClassWallet, choose Pay Vendor, select myShakespeare, enter the invoice total, and upload the PDF. Once your order is approved and payment is issued, we'll email your course access code within two business days.

Not in NYC or not a CSF family? New York doesn't currently have a statewide ESA program, but you can always purchase our courses directly at courses.myshakespeare.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my ESA/EFA funds to buy your courses?

Yes — if you're in one of the programs listed above. Our courses are self-paced online English/Literature courses on Shakespeare's plays for grades 7–12.

How does the invoice work? Why can't I just check out normally?

When you pay with program funds, your program pays us directly through ClassWallet — you never enter a credit card on our site. The invoice is how that happens:

Fill out our invoice form (choose your course, add parent name, student name, and the email your student will use to log in).
Click the button and save the PDF (in the window that opens, choose "Save as PDF").
In ClassWallet, choose Pay Vendor, select myShakespeare from the vendor list, enter the exact total shown on your invoice, and upload the PDF.

That's it — no payment is due from you. Your invoice number (it looks like ESA-20260815-1234) is how we track your order, so hang onto your copy.

The vendor list says "myShakespeare" but my invoice says "Paradigm Education LLC." Is that right?

Yes — Paradigm Education LLC is our legal business name, and myShakespeare is the name we do business under (you'll see both on your invoice). Select myShakespeare in the ClassWallet vendor list; the payment reaches us either way.

Do I have to pay anything out of pocket?

No. Payment comes straight from your student's program account. You never front the money or wait for reimbursement.

How long until my student can start the course?

Two things have to happen: first, your program administrator reviews and approves the order (timing varies by program and is outside our control), and then, once payment reaches us, we'll send your course access code within two business days. Your student can start the moment the code is redeemed.

How does my student actually get access after I order?

Once payment arrives, we'll email your course access code — within two business days — to the email address you entered on the invoice, with simple steps to redeem it at courses.myshakespeare.com. If your student already has an account at courses.myshakespeare.com, redeem the code while signed in to that account so their progress stays in one place.

How long does my student have access?

12 months from the day your access code is redeemed, for all of our courses. Purchases made with program funds don't auto-renew — if you'd like access beyond 12 months, simply place a new order through your program.

Can I buy courses for more than one child?

Absolutely. Generate a separate invoice for each student (programs require per-student transactions), using each child's own name and login email, and submit each one in ClassWallet from that student's account.

Can I buy more than one course for the same student?

Yes — just generate a separate invoice for each course. One note: for the same play, our Comprehensive course includes everything in the Quick Study version plus interactive activities, so most students need only one of the two.

What if my order is rejected or stuck in review?

Email us first at [email protected] with your invoice number — the most common fix is a corrected or more detailed invoice, and we'll turn that around quickly. If the question is about your account balance or what your program allows, your program administrator or ClassWallet support is the right contact (see below).

What's your refund policy for ESA/EFA purchases?

We'll refund any course that is less than 50% complete within one month of purchase — just email [email protected] with your invoice number. One important rule: refunds on program-funded purchases are returned through ClassWallet to your student's program account — never paid directly to the parent. This keeps everything compliant with your program's requirements.

Is the price the same as buying directly?

Yes. ESA/EFA families pay the same prices as everyone else — no surcharges and no markups.
